Socorro, Angel of Sorrow

I think that this picture was great, it had lots of detail, but there's one thing that bugged me: it wasn't clear what the picture was supposed to represent or the story behind it. I know this is your present to someone but I would love it if you could explain more of the events leading up to this and why the main character is chained. I know that this probably isn't important, but for me personally I think that this is a great picture, but I'd just feel like it would get more interesting If we knew what is going on.
